Studio Art Group 2025 enrolment now open

The program provides opportunities for emerging artist to:

  • Gain confidence in your arts practice

  • Develop your own visual language and style

  • Explore exhibition pathways

  • Receive regular 1 on 1 creative mentoring

  • Learn new art material techniques and experimentation

  • Join a creative community

Small group size ensures ample space and access to staff, located in Melbourne's inner north

The studio program recognises the deep and enduring connection between mental health and creativity; offering participants the space and support to express themselves creatively, develop their professional arts practice, connect with like-minded artists and enhance their wellbeing.

Facilitated by an artist & registered art therapist specialising in open studio groups, the program will provide participants a unique opportunity to explore their creativity in a supportive environment.

Participant testimonials
"The Studio Art Group (SNAP) has become an important part of my creative life and, as such, enhances my mental health. Sam energetically and thoughtfully facilitates sessions that are supportive and encouraging, with the help of the program’s lovely assistants. Despite the fact that the participants are diverse in their goals and interests, an inclusive sense of community has emerged within the group, which I believe is the factor which everyone involved values most."

Our practice recognises the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, as the owners and custodians of the places we work from. We recognise their sovereignty, culture and creativity.

Samantha Sederof is a Melbourne Artist and ANZACATA & ACA registered Art Therapist & Counsellor providing services for children, adolescents and adults, family therapy, and the studio art group specialising in NDIS participants. Mental health and wellbeing is supported in a creative arts studio by using evidence based psychotherapeutic methods.
